In doing research on my in-process book , Memes for the Creation of a New Culture, by doing some Googling, I found longish but well worth it essay, The problems with beliefs by Jim Walker on his website, nobeliefs.com. Walker explores the concept of beliefs all the way from their origins to their implications. The essence of his conclusions about beliefs is, don’t have them.
