While checking my feeds late in the evening, I found my way to one of the earliest counterculture sites on the web, the famous Deoxyribonucleic Hyperdimension at deoxy.org.
I’ve always loved this neon psychedelic dmt and I am pleased to see that the artist Dimitri has added some new features including a "news bot" with headline feeds at deoxy.org newss.
Deoxy.org is my favorite website, in fact one of the few websites I bother with. When I tried to access it moments ago, my computer could not find the server. This has never happened before. The browser on my computer is not having trouble accessing any other sites. Please if anyone who reads this has any idea what is going on with the site, email me. I fear that it has been removed. The date is June 1, 2005. This is perhaps one of the only places left to aquire this kind of information. If Deoxy has been destroyed, than god help us all.

I’ve tried to access the site day by day for the past two weeks, too. Without success. I also think, it had been a website of immense ‘(re)cognitional value’
I tried to type the keywords ‘What+happened+to+deoxy.org’ into the search field of yahoo. I was not able to find any REALLY useful hints as to how to acces the site, BUT this is the way I’ve found your post under http://bruceeisner.com//2005/01/there_is_news_a.html

much like the ppl who have posted before me, i too visit deoxy daily as it is my favorite website (out side of bushflash). please dont let it be gone. i too would donate money to keep it alive. WHAT HAS HAPPEND? no longer can i read “the human evasion” when ever i would like. no longer can i search through the almost limitless supply of infomation and learn something new each day. this is a loss for everyone. i found out about the disappearance of deoxy after sending the web address to my mother, who then told me that she could find it. if anyone can send me any infomation as to what happened and how it might be fixed, that would be greatly appreciated. thank you, and let us hope for the return of this amazing resource.

I too am a deoxy fan, and found this website while doing a search for alternate links for said website. I’ve been visiting regularly since I found it about 3 years ago and only once in that time had it gone down. Hopefully this is just a server problem, since last time they were offline (about 2 years ago) they came back with a new server and greater capabilities and loads more information.
I will keep checking this space in the hopes someone out there can enlighten us.

..Been using Deoxy.org for literally a decade (I remember using it back in 1995 to link to when creating my first website) I know it’ll be back.. Please keep me updated as well on it’s chrysalis..I’m another yearning soul that would gladly give monetarily to keep it in existence.. Dimitri, where ever you are, keep on keepin on bro..
Well that sounds like good news. i enjoy that site for the way that people think. even when theyre trying to sound waaaayyy out there. it definately gets my mind working in an unorthodox fashion, and i kinda like it.

Deoxy was ‘my’ website, just like you all feel… it was a special place I felt I could connect with, both on a spiritual and intellectual level. This was like my bible!!!
Could we find out at least how to obtain an archive of the site prior to it going down, maybe on a CD!?
I would donate money to keep this website alive.

Just wanted to bring the posts uptodate as I just discovered deoxy.org and was totally impressed- then discovered bruceeisner and these apocalyptic concerns about the site going down…seems to be presently flourishing.
There Is News A Brewin’ at Deoxy.org was published in January 2005 when Deoxy was down twice for several months. I hope that explains my concern about the site back then.

I FOUND THAT SITE WHEN I WAS 12 AND IT TOTALLY TRANSFORMED MY WORLD AND IS THE REASON WHY I AM THE PERSON THAT I AM TODAY!
