The site is a bit graphic heavy and text light for my tastes but impressive nevertheless. Yann Arthus-Bertrand has collected verbal "testimonies" from a wide spectrum of people in a variety of cultures.

<p>Sampling them leaves me with the feeling that our species is both unimaginably diverse and at the same time underneath the surface diversity, very similar. Here is how the site describes the project:</p><blockquote><p>In 2008 you will be able to listen to the thousands of testimonies which have been collected, and add your own testimony to the site. In the meantime, take a look at the project, the team, and some interviews that have already been made.;</p></blockquote><p>You can explore the site through the link at the top of the post. I should say that the site might be challenging to navigate at first but worth the effort.</p><blockquote></blockquote>
