I just arrived at the Extreme Futurist Conference at the Blix Cafe near 450 S Bixby in Los Angeles Ca
I am in a dome structure where there have been a steady stream of talks on a variety of talks on topics transhumanist.
The event is being held on December 20 to December 21 2012. As the second of these two days, the Winter Solstice 2012 has been made noteworthy by the late Terence McKenna and also by those interested I’m the Mayan Calendar.
According to the various myths surrounding this date is that it is the advent of the singularity, a say of massive transformation, and many others.
So the gathering has been humorously dubbed the “End of the World” party.
