Still Blogging and Some Changes

Hello world. You may have noticed that I have not posted much here recently. But do not worry, I am still  blogging.

I'm making some changes to  this blog. I'll introduce you to a few of them in this post.

I took my Mindware Forum blog on personal growth technology which has coexisted with Vision thing in the http://bruceeisner.com/mindware since I stared writing them in 2003. and moved it to its own domain at http://mindwareforum.com.

I just finished watching a documentary called Know Your Mushrooms which I recorded from a showing yesterday on the Sundance Channel. The documentary was made by director Ron Mann who is best known for his film Comic Book Confidential.

Much of the film was shot at the annual Telluride Mushroom Festival which is a Mecca for psychedelic fungiphiles. It explores many of the elaborate urban myths and theoretical speculations which have popped up like multiple Read more »

Under the Influence — YouTube Exerpt from Forthcoming Documentary About Drugs

Back in October 2007, I sat down for a wide ranging interview with a young filmmaker named Colby Dennis from Nobuddy Productions. He and his crew were in the process of interviewing for a documentary called "Under the Influence" which would  examine the drug war including its origin, effects and i implications on our culture.

Colby later ended the scope to a three part film with sections titled "Western Culture and the American Perception", "The Faux Freedom of Drug Policy and an third, Shamanism, Healing, and Alternative Implications.
